Step 4 - Loading Data

The order of loading data into a STEMgis database is important. You must load spatial data prior to loading attribute data. You will be given a warning if you try to load data in the wrong order.

To load the example data click on Load File in the Insert Menu.

Enter the name of the spatial input CSV file, which is in the data\samples sub-directory wherever you installed STEMgis (e.g. c:\Program Files\Discovery Software\STEMgis).

You will several progress messages as the data are loaded.

Secondly, load the attribute data in data\samples\roadatttribs.csv

Exit the STEMgis Manager by File>Exit.
